Lauren Portia Events is a luxury destination wedding planner for couples marrying in Italy, France, Spain, Greece and the UK. Our founder, Lauren Portia, and her team are certified in Wedding Planning & Event Design by the Global Wedding Academy. Based in the UK, UAE and Italy, our team works with couples from the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and the UAE, offering full planning, partial planning and wedding-day coordination.

OUR CLIENTS
Lauren spent more than a decade in the events industry before moving into weddings, planning luxury events, charity galas and large conferences. Destination weddings call for exactly that background in logistics and project management. Guests fly in from several countries, suppliers work in another language, and the legal paperwork changes from one comune to the next.
Over the past five years, Lauren and her team have planned more than 200 weddings and multi-day celebrations at some of the most sought-after venues in Italy, France and across Europe.
She holds a degree in Event Management and is certified by the Global Wedding Academy in Wedding Planning and in Styling & Wedding Design. She also married in Rome herself, so she knows first-hand what it's like to plan an Italian wedding from abroad.
In 2025 Lauren launched Italian Venues, a directory of wedding venues and suppliers across Italy for couples planning their own celebrations. As a result, she spends much of the year visiting and vetting venues around the country.
